Swaraj Sangam is a citizen-led initiative to make political participation accessible, transparent and democratic.
Our mission
Most people can't easily find who is contesting in their constituency, what happened in the last election, or who is responsible for a broken road or an empty health centre. We bring that together — from Lok Sabha to gram panchayat — and give citizens simple ways to raise issues, question representatives and take part.
Neutrality pledge
- We do not support or oppose any political party or candidate.
- We accept no money from political parties or their representatives.
- Every piece of information is labelled: Official (Election Commission / government), Verified (checked by our reporters) or Citizen report (not yet checked).
- Our reporters may not be party members and must declare conflicts of interest.
- During the 48-hour silence period and exit-poll bans, campaign content and polls pause automatically for that area.
Data sources
Lok Sabha and assembly results come from the Election Commission of India. Panchayat and municipal results come from the State Election Commissions. Each election card on this site links to its source. If you find an error, tell us and we will correct it publicly.
Community rules
- Post only what you have seen or can show. Facts, not rumours.
- No abuse, hate speech, or remarks about caste, religion or community.
- No allegations against named private individuals. Officials and departments can be asked to act; people cannot be accused.
- Polls are about local works and services, not about parties or candidates.
- Every issue, poll and comment is reviewed before it appears. We may edit out personal details or decline a post.
- Limits keep it fair: 5 comments an hour, 3 polls a week and 5 issues a day per person.
